Sanctuary Cove GC defeat Burleigh GC Interclub Final

The Interclub Final for 2025 has been run and won.  On Sunday 22 June 2025 at Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club Sanctuary Cove defeated Burleigh 8.0 to 4.0.  It was a hard fought season for all clubs which in the end resulted in Sanctuary Cove taking on Burleigh in the final.  The results on the day in most part were close and is a testament to the level of competition between these two clubs.  Congratulations to Sanctuary Cove on a great win and to all their players across both A & B grades, their team management, caddies and supporters, well done on a great Pennant season.  To Burleigh and their team and supporters it was another great year another year in the final representing a great golf club.  The District would like to thank Coolangatta Tweed management and staff and the Superintendent for the course presentation.  We would also like to thank the catering and bar staff for their service and hospitality during the day.
