Godiva Kim & Hugo Smith Presentation by Golf Qld Chair – Peter Reeves

The Gold Coast District Golf Association recognised two outstanding juniors at the GCDGA Delegate meeting held last night at Surfers Paradise Golf Club.

The Chair of Golf QLD Peter Reeves was present and had great pleasure in assisting the District in recognising our latest junior Golf champions Godiva Kim and Hugo Smith.

Godiva Kim’s excellence continues with her recent win in the 2025 Women’s Amateur recently held at Bribie Island Golf Club.  At 17 years she continues to go from strength to strength.

Hugo Smith, 8 years of age, has just come back from the United States where he won back to back World Championships for his age group.

The Gold Coast is alive with Junior talent and these two stars are testament to their skill and family support over their journey to date.  We all will keep a close on eye on their progress.
