Emerald Lakes & Burleigh share the Junior Pennant Finals

The 2025 Junior Pennant Finals were contested yesterday at Southport Golf Club, where Emerald Lakes claimed the Scratch Final 3.5–2.5 and Burleigh took out the Handicap Final by the same narrow margin.

Under overcast skies, both teams arrived ready to compete, and it proved to be a tightly fought contest across both divisions. Parents and supporters followed the matches closely, encouraging players all the way to the 18th green as the results came down to the final holes.

Presentations were held in great spirit, rounding out what was a fantastic day of junior golf. The Gold Coast District Golf Association congratulates all teams who reached the finals and thanks every club and player who participated throughout the series.

A special thank you goes to Southport Golf Club and all host venues for presenting their courses in excellent condition and for their outstanding hospitality.
